    What an awesome chapter. It makes me think that I’m not praying nearly enough. The prayer here is heartfelt, poetic, and continual.

    One verse that resonates with me is the baptismal scene. After people are baptized, they are filled with fire and the Holy Ghost; it says they’re encircled about as if by fire.

    This reminds me of an experience on my mission, where I baptized someone and all through the baptism felt the same way — a deep warmth all throughout my chest, a strong sense of comfort and right. Feelings like that don’t fade so easily from memory. They make a lasting spiritual impression.

    I once read that the Holy Ghost is manifested with the ordinances of the gospel. I think that is so true, especially with baptism.
