It’s interesting that Nephi isn’t entirely sure about the Lord’s purpose in writing the record, yet he follows through. You don’t always need a purpose to write, but I do think you need an audience.

I also like how he says the Spirit has exhausted him, leaving his joints or bones weak. Such an interesting way of looking at it, especially since we commonly talk about how the spirit stenghthens us rather than wearing us out.
