I like that the Lord didn’t want them to travel in the wilderness alone. They are to go in families, to raise up seed, to marry. They travel as a family unit.

Of course, if they traveled to the promised land without spouses, they probably wouldn’t survive long. Still, I like the idea that the Lord doesn’t want us traveling alone. Family is not only a good idea, it’s the established plan.
