It’s interesting how poetic Isaiah becomes in writing about destruction. I almost wonder if there’s such a thing as “the poetry of destruction.” As I commented previously, it makes it sound like an action-packed movie. Perhaps “Taken” with Kirt Cameron is this movie.
On another note, the running narrative of the wicked getting their due is a constant theme in Hollywood as well. “And I will punish the world for evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay down the haughtiness of the terrible.” This is the justice we all expect.
